HEAT ALERT: Mostly sunny Memorial Day in New Jersey with highs creeping into the 90s Tuesday

WHAT'S NEW: Today will be hot with highs in the upper 80s, but temperatures are expected to rise Tuesday and there could be record-breaking heat. 
WHAT'S NEXT: Tuesday will be very hot with highs in the lower 90s, but it will be quiet and cooler for the remainder of the week.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says there will be sunny skies and high temperatures as conditions get hotter on Memorial Day and Tuesday.
New Jersey will see mostly sunny skies with highs of 87-92.

Tonight will be muggy and mostly clear with some foggy spots and lows around 70.

Tuesday will be dangerously hot with highs that could exceed 95 degrees. 

WEDENSDAY:  Partly cloudy, late day t-storms. Highs 75-80.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy, late day shower chance, otherwise dry and cooler. highs middle and upper 70s.

FRIDAY: Partly sunny, on and off rain. Highs middle and upper 70s.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny highs either side of 80.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny highs either side of 80.
