Hazardous air quality conditions in New Jersey from the Canadian wildfires prompted the cancellation of the Cousin Brucie show at PNC Arts Center on Thursday.
The show was to be hosted by the Garden State Arts Foundation. It has been postponed until further notice due to the smoky conditions. A new date has not yet been announced.
This is one of the latest events in the state to be canceled due to poor air quality. Gov. Phil Murphy told New Jersey residents not to panic and to use common sense.
He said that the conditions were expected to ramp up intensity Thursday night.
New Jersey residents are urged to limit their time outdoors and wear a mask if they must be outside.
