A Harrison High School football coach was suspended and is facing charges for allegedly driving a township-owned vehicle while drunk, according to district officials.
Thomas Ferriero Jr. was recently hired as head coach, but was suspended indefinitely without pay after the incident.
"It started on the other block right there on Harrison Street," says Raf, a recent Harrison High School graduate. "Then it came over here on the parking lot."
The car was totaled in the crash. Debris still litters the school parking lot.
Thomas Ferriero Sr., the coach's father, had access to the keys of the vehicle his son allegedly drove. Ferriero Sr. was also suspended without pay.
