The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is officially open for business in Atlantic City.
Instead of a ribbon cutting, the Hard Rock held a ceremonial “smashing of the guitars” to mark the occasion.
There were also performances, dances and light shows to officially open the casino.
"Black Panther" star and Newark native Michael B. Jordan was among those helping to christen the facility.
The hotel boasts nearly 2,000 rooms and suites, nightclubs and a 7,000-seat arena.
The casino has a nearly 120,000-square-foot gaming floor with 2,144 new slot machines and 120 new table games.
The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is housed in the former Trump Taj Mahal Casino.
The Hard Rock was not the only new casino to open in Atlantic City Thursday. The Ocean Resort Casino also officially opened in the former Revel hotel and casino.
