While many New Jersey businesses are closing due to the recession, a Hamilton adult video and novelty store wants the OK to branch out.
The owner of Video Xpress has asked Hamilton's zoning board for permission to build a new 7,600 square foot building, triple its current size.
The proposal has been met with some trepidation from local parents concerned about the store's proximity to a nearby elementary school. Hamilton Mayor John Bencivengo says the township's planning office will likely advise the zoning board to reject the application due to the amount of criticism.
Customer Aaron McAllister, on the other hand, says he's fine with the expansion since the store is doing so well.
"This place is always packed ? all the time," says McAllister.
