A clinic was held in Monmouth County Saturday to offer H1N1 vaccinations to pregnant women and children below the age of four.
Clinic workers say the demand for the vaccine is so high people began lining up outside the facility at 4 a.m. The clinic was organized by the Monmouth County Health Department.
According to Michael Meddis, of the Monmouth County Health Department, about 2,000 people were vaccinated. Meddis says the department has thousands more doses of the nasal mist vaccine, which is not recommended for pregnant women.
The county has held two other clinics targeted at vaccinating medical workers.
