Grief counselors will be on hand at East Brook Middle School in Paramus as students and staff return to class following Thursday’s deadly bus crash on Interstate 80 in Mount Olive.
A memorial was set up on the school grounds Thursday for the still unidentified fifth grader, and now ID’d middle school teacher killed in the deadly crash.
Parents rushed to the school right after hearing word that one of three buses full of children on its way to historic Waterloo Village had crashed.
Here are the numbers: 43 injuries, 21 taken to Morristown Memorial, two at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in critical condition, and the two fatalities.
There’s support and messages coming to the Paramus community from all around the country.
On social media, many people are using the #ParamusStrong.
All evening activities at schools are cancelled tonight, as they were Thursday night.
