(04/06/06) MENDHAM ? A 19-year-old athlete from Mendham is one of the individuals entangled in the Duke University lacrosse team sex scandal.

According to police, Ryan McFadyen wrote a graphic e-mail just hours after a stripper performed at a Duke lacrosse party and claimed she was raped. In the e-mail, police say McFadyen wrote ?I plan on killing the bitches as soon as they walk in and proceeding to cut their skin off.? McFadyen has since been suspended and kicked off campus.

McFadyen?s family refused to comment on the matter. The lacrosse star has not yet been charged with any crime. Since the scandal made headlines, Duke University canceled the lacrosse season and the team?s coach has stepped down.
