Another porch pirate in Gloucester Township was caught on camera. However, this time police say the suspect was wearing an Amazon jacket.
Police say a man wearing a two-tone Amazon jacket removed packages from the victim’s front porch in the Valleybrook Development in Gloucester Township.
Video then shows the man walk back to a blue Sedan with the package in his hands. The package that was stolen contained $1,229 worth of Apple Watches, according to police. They say the serial numbers have been listed as stolen on the National Crime Information Center database.
Police are now setting up bait packages so they can catch thieves in the act.
Stealing a package in New Jersey is a felony. The crime carries up to five years in prison.
