Fatal crash in Sussex County claims life of New York man
4h agoFriends and family members gathered on Wednesday to hold a funeral for a Jersey City teacher who was found buried in a shallow grave in Kearney earlier this month.
Luz Hernandez was found dead on Feb. 7. She was a teacher at BelovED Charter School.
Cesar Santana, the father of Hernandez’s three children, was arrested in Florida on Friday. He was charged with desecrating and concealing human remains.
Leiner Miranda Lopez, 26, also faces the same charges. He is not yet in custody.
Neither man has been charged with homicide.
