Funeral held for 3-year-old fatally struck by car

A funeral was held for a 3-year-old boy Saturday morning at the Christian Pentecostal Church.  Police say Rahmere Tullis was hit and killed by a car on Sept. 11 as he walked to school with his mother.

A funeral was held for a 3-year-old boy Saturday morning at the Christian Pentecostal Church. 
Police say Rahmere Tullis was hit and killed by a car on Sept. 11 as he walked to school with his mother.
The owner of the car, Troy Ruff, jumped a curb and struck Rahmere.
Ruff, a fugitive wanted for aggravated assault, has been charged in the boy's death. 
Newark Mayor Ras Baraka delivered Rahmere's eulogy during Saturday's funeral services.
Funeral attendees honored Rahmere by wearing T-shirts with his picture and ribbons of his favorite color.
