Fallout from acknowledged grade changing at Fort Lee High School is spreading.
Superintendent Raymond Bandlow announced Wednesday a full investigation was being launched into grade manipulation at the school. According to Bandlow, low grades were dropped and others raised on student records for years.
Bandlow has begun contacting colleges that have received altered student records. Lisa Angeloni, dean of admissions at the College of New Jersey, says she's wary of applications coming from Fort Lee.
"That's where I get a little annoyed at Fort Lee," says Angeloni. "It questions the integrity of anything they do at this point."
Fort Lee parents say they are more than annoyed with administration, calling the schools' reputation tarnished. Bandlow maintains the investigation will right the school's wrongs of the past.
"I feel very determined that we are going to do whatever is necessary to restore our integrity, and we will do that," he says.
