New Jersey saw sunny skies with a little bit of cloud coverage for Wednesday, but northern storms could threaten the state.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that he's monitoring a storm system in southern New York that could threaten New Jersey, but dry weather is expected for Thursday.
Wednesday's overnight hours are expected to remain mostly clear. Temperatures are expected to dip into the mid-60s.
Thursday should see mostly sunny skies with a light breeze. Temperatures are expected to reach the upper-80s.
Friday could see mostly cloudy skies and the chance of a thunderstorm. Temperatures are expected to be slightly cooler around 81 degrees.
Fourth of July weekend is expected to see lots of sunshine with temperatures in the mid-80s.
