The weather was mostly clear and sunny across New Jersey Friday, but a wet weekend is in store for the Garden State.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that rain is expected for Saturday afternoon and evening, as well as Sunday afternoon.
Friday's overnight hours are expected to see clouds begin to develop with temperatures decreasing into the low-60s.
Saturday should see cloudy skies in the morning and then rain developing in the afternoon and evening. Curren says that the rain is expected to be heaviest in the southern portion of the state. Temperatures should reach the low-60s
Sunday is expected to see more clouds and scattered showers. Temperatures should reach the upper 60s.
Monday should also see more clouds and light rain is possible. Temperatures should reach the low-70s.
