News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says temperatures reached the mid- to upper-80s Wednesday, but Thursday may see slightly cooler temperatures.
Wednesday's overnight hours are expected to see mostly cloudy skies and thunderstorms could possibly develop after midnight in some areas of the state.
Thursday is expected to see mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the low-80s. Rainstorms may develop along the coast in the afternoon.
Friday is expected to be mostly clear with temperatures in the low-80s.
Rain may make a return for the weekend.
