New Jersey finally got a little bit of relief Tuesday from the hazy, hot and humid weather of the past few days.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Justin Godynick says Tuesday's temperatures reached the mid-80s, accompanied by decreasing humidity from 26 mph wind gusts.
He says overnight lows will drop into the 60s under mostly clear skies.
Temperatures and humidity are expected to climb throughout the week, with a chance of thunderstorms Friday. Godynick says some areas in the Garden State can expect more temps in the 90s this weekend into next week.
