Despite efforts by State Farm to process flood insurance claims, some victims of recent flooding say their needs aren?t being met fast enough.
State Farm set up a Catastrophe Response Vehicle in a Bridgewater parking lot to help push claims through faster. Representatives say with 3,900 claims, they are doing all they can to service customers in a timely manner.
Some homeowners were pleased with the insurance company?s performance. Others say they are still waiting for an adjuster to assess their flood-damaged homes.
?It?s just inexcusable a big company such as State Farm and yet I think they dropped the ball,? homeowner Milton Fernandez said.
State Farm says its vehicle will be parked in the Home Depot parking lot on Promenade Boulevard until the end of the week.
