Paterson firefighters rescued a man Saturday after he fell onto a ledge in the Great Falls.

Police director Jerry Speziale says a man dropped his cell phone while on a footbridge over the falls this morning. 

The man tried to grab his cellphone when he fell onto the ledge below.

The man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
