A man accused of attacking two EMTs in Paterson has been arrested, according to Deputy Fire Chief Jason Macones.
The incident occurred Tuesday at the apartments on 16th Avenue after a woman called to report her boyfriend was having trouble breathing, prompting the emergency response.
Police say the EMTs secured the man onto a gurney when they arrived. He immediately asked to get off and then allegedly hit and punched the first responders before running off.
