Firefighters in Newark responded early Saturday morning to a fire at a mixed-use building on Ferry Street.
According to reports, the blaze tore through an electronics store on the first floor and caused six families to evacuate.
There were no major injuries reported. It began around 5 a.m. and was under control by 6:08 a.m.
It was not immediately clear how the fire started.
