A former Giants player is spending Super Bowl Sunday cheering on a team that snubbed him more than 15 years ago.
Rouson played with the Giants for more than six years, but never made it as a running back starter. Instead, he found success with the Cleveland Browns in 1991, and ultimately won two Super Bowl championships with the team.
His renewed love for the team happened when the Giants made the winning goal against the Green Bay Packers two weeks ago. This change of heart prompted Rouson to write a fight song for the Giants.
?I want it to be a song to just galvanize and bring fans and players together,? said Rouson, who is now a father of four and minister.
Though he has forgiven the Giants, the new fan says that he isn?t making any predictions for Sunday?s big game.
