Fantastic forecast for the first half of the week; lots of sun and very little humidity

Summer is far from done. Possible record heat is expected by the end of the week.

This is my summer definition of a Goldilocks forecast. Not too hot, not too humid. It's just right.
Monday's forecast was filled with warm temperatures, a nice breeze and very little humidity. Perfect for the beach, the pool, the lake or doing chores outside. It was glorious. I think we'll squeak out one more day, just like today was, before changes start showing up.
Tuesday is expected to see mainly sunny skies and comfortably warm temperatures with highs in the low 80s. The winds will be northeasterly, so it won't get hot. That kind of wind could drive a few more clouds up against the coast. The winds will stay northeastern to southeastern for Wednesday, which means a few more clouds at the shoreline while the rest of the state gets more sunshine.
Fair weather moves offshore, and the winds switch to the south, southwest. This will open the door for heat and humidity to streak back towards the area. By Thursday, the daily high is in the mid-90s, feeling more like 99 or 100 degrees. Friday will be the hottest day, and possibly a record-breaker. The record we will be chasing is 99 degrees set back in 2016. The forecast is 100+ degrees.
Let's see how the pattern evolves.
