Police: Fairleigh Dickinson University student sexually assaulted in dorm for hours

Police say a 21-year-old man from Jersey City threatened the student with a knife and assaulted her physically and sexually over several hours.

A Fairleigh Dickinson University student was sexually assaulted in her dorm for hours, according to authorities.
Police say Jayshawn Moore, 21, from Jersey City forced himself into a student’s dorm room on Sunday at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Florham Park.
Police say he threatened the student with a knife and assaulted her physically and sexually over several hours.
Moore was arrested Tuesday in Elizabeth. He's currently facing multiple charges, including terroristic threats and kidnapping.
During the investigation, police found that Moore has no affiliation with the school.
