Extremely high temperatures and potentially stormy weather conditions will impact New Jersey into the weekend.

WHAT’S NEXT: Temperatures remain in the mid- to upper-90s through Saturday. New Jersey residents are urged to use caution and limit their time spent outdoors. Stormy weather is also possible through Saturday.
FRIDAY: Daytime highs around 97 degrees. Excessive heat warnings are in effect through Friday night. Stormy weather is a possibility. Overnight lows around 71.
SATURDAY: Daytime highs around 97 degrees. Stormy weather is a possibility. Overnight lows around 75.
SUNDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Weather should remain dry. Daytime highs around 93. Overnight lows around 70.
