Former NYPD Commissioner Bernard Kerik has reportedly reached a plea agreement with the Bronx District Attorney?s office in a corruption probe.
Kerik has denied all accusations against him in an 18-month criminal probe. Investigators accuse Kerik of only paying $17,000 in a $200,000 renovation to his Bronx apartment. However, Kerik will now reportedly admit some wrongdoing.
According to published reports, the agreement calls for Kerik to admit accepting a gift and failing to report a loan when he served as correction commissioner under former Mayor Giuliani. As part of the reported deal, Kerik will not face felony charges, but would pay a fine.
