Anyone who is looking to buy some items from a historical home can visit an estate sale in Essex County this weekend.
The
Charles Schultz House in Montclair, which is also known as Evergreens, has been owned by the same family for over a century. The sale will include everything from paintings worth thousands of dollars to smaller collectibles dating back over generations.
"We started with tens of thousands of things and so much left yesterday it was remarkable. We opened at 10 a.m. yesterday and the line to get in lasted until 3 p.m.,” says Lasalle Estate Solutions co-owner Laura Hanlon. “It looked like Woodstock on the front lawn. People waited patiently because they knew treasure was in here. It's truly a time capsule."
The last day of the sale will be Saturday.
