A suspect has been apprehended in connection with a series of car burglaries at the Essex Green Shopping Plaza in West Orange.

Police say property was stolen from several cars in the parking lot of LA Fitness and other areas on Nov. 25 and 26.

Hakir Hodges, of Newark, is charged with eight counts of burglary and two counts of attempted burglary.
