A Hunterdon County elementary school janitor is facing charges for allegedly possessing child sex abuse materials.

Carlos Barraza, of Raritan Township, worked in the Flemington-Raritan School District.

Prosecutors say Barraza, 34, saved more than a dozen explicit photos of a child to his Snapchat account.

Barraza was taken into custody on Thursday. He was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Officials say he could face up to five years in prison if convicted.
