Prosecutors say an educator secretly videotaped teenage boys in the shower at a Catholic high school in Somerville for nearly three years.
Authorities say Patrick Lott, of Somerville, recorded the videos in a communal shower area at Immaculata High School starting in January 2008.
The 54-year-old husband and father is facing dozens of charges after investigators searched his Somerville home earlier this month and discovered incriminating images on his personal computer. He is an assistant principal at a public middle school and volunteered at Immaculata.
The Somerset County Prosecutor's Office says the investigation is ongoing and wide-reaching, including any educational institution or program that Lott has been affiliated with. Lott's attorney, James Wronko, says that his client is in a whole new environment and has very serious charges hanging over his head. Lott is being held on $500,000 bail.
