Families in Hackensack weren't letting the COVID-19 pandemic stop them from enjoying Easter Sunday.
The Easter Bunny was stationed at Foschini Park for a drive-by meet-and-greet. People stayed in their cars and kept their distance as they got towave to the bunny.
The event was being held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and again from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Participants were asked to use the Midtown Bridge approach, loop onto East Salem, and drive past Foschini Park. Families would then find the Easter Bunny on one of the city's fire trucks and were able to drive by the park's exit and wave to the Easter Bunny.
A GoFundMe page has also been started to help feed people in need in the community.
