An early morning fire tore through a pizzeria and deli in Jersey City on Thursday.

Authorities say that the fire at Vincent’s Pizzeria & Italian Deli on Kennedy Boulevard appears to have started in the basement.

Firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly.

No one was hurt, and the fire did not spread to any other buildings.

The cause is under investigation.
