An early morning fire destroyed a house in Jersey Friday.
The fire broke out around 2:30 a.m. on Bramhall Avenue.
Neighbors tell News 12 New Jersey that the home has been abandoned for some time, but there were reports that a man was rescued from the third floor of the home.
Jersey City officials have not confirmed if anyone was rescued or if anyone was hurt.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
