Duo on the run after attacking NYPD Traffic Enforcement agent in Morris Heights

Police are searching for a man and a woman they say attacked an NYPD Traffic Enforcement agent in Morris Heights.
It happened just after noon on Aug. 28 while the agent was issuing a parking summons in front of 1800 Davidson Ave.
The NYPD says the duo walked up to the agent and the man punched him in the face.
According to police, the woman then got into a car and drove off while the man ran away, traveling northbound on Davidson Avenue toward West 177th Street.
Paramedics took the agent to a nearby hospital. Police say he is expected to recover.
The NYPD released images of the alleged assailants on Friday. Police say both suspects are around 5 feet 8 inches tall and 180 pounds.
The man was last seen wearing a black hooded shirt with orange writing, gray sneakers and carrying a black drawstring bag.
The woman was last spotted wearing a multicolored headscarf, a black shirt with green writing, gray pants and white sneakers.
Information about what sparked the attack was not immediately available.
