A New Jersey man is facing charges after authorities say he was caught on camera speeding by a school bus while it was picking up children.
The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office says it happened Thursday just before 7:30 a.m. in Lakewood.
Authorities say 36-year-old Alfonso Rodriguez-Rojas is charged with reckless driving, driving with a suspended license and passing a stopped school bus.
A motorist's dashcam video shows Rodriguez-Rojas' green pickup truck driving over a double yellow line and passing a car and school bus. Prosecutors say they were "amazed" at the driver's "blatant disregard for safety."
He's due in court on June 11.
