It's a happy ending for one pup and his owner.

A lost dog who boarded a NJ Transit train last week has been reunited with his owner following a solo adventure during Thursday morning's commute.

NJ Transit police say the dog took the train all by himself from South Orange to Hoboken. They posted the dog on social media.

Officials say thanks to the public’s help with spreading the word, the dog’s owner was found.
