The Department of Environmental Protection says harmful algae has been found at more lakes across New Jersey.
According to officials, the beach at Budd Lake in Morris County is closed because the bloom has caused higher than acceptable levels of bacteria.
In Sussex County, officials say Musconetcong Lake also has the algae, but boats are still welcome.
Lake Hopatcong has been dealing with high algae levels, but two areas are now open to swimmers.
