The busy holiday travel season is nearly upon us, and people have already begun their voyages at Newark International Airport.
Around 1.2 million people will be traveling, with over 100,000 flying.
AAA in Central New Jersey recommends travelers flying out of Newark and LaGuardia airports arrive early due to all the congestion in the surrounding areas.
Travelers should arrive two hours early for domestic flights and three hours early for international flights.
TSA will be adding 1,500 more inspectors nationally to help move things along.
