A national nonprofit organization is conducting an independent review to see if the death of an 11-year-old girl in the restroom at a Mount Holly school was a suicide related to bullying.
The Burlington County prosecutor confirmed that the girl was found in a restroom at F.W. Holbein School in February. She died two days later.
Now, the Uvalde Foundation for Kids is launching its own review of the incident after the child's mother suggested her request for help had gone unheeded by school officials.
The student had apparently lost her father recently and was allegedly being bullied.
