US Customs and Border Protection officials say counterfeit coronavirus tests were intercepted this week at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.

The shipment, which came from the United Kingdom Tuesday, also included fake tests for other diseases, such as meningitis and salmonella, as well as COVID-19.

Only verified state and local health laboratories have tests that have been authorized to check for coronavirus.
