Crime Stoppers offers reward for info in gas station shooting
A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the shooting of a 60-year-old gas station attendant.
South Brunswick police say that the attendant was shot multiple time at the BP Gas Station on Route 27 around 4:15 a.m. Sunday during a botched robbery attempt. The attendant is currently in serious condition at the hospital.
South Brunswick Police Chief Raymond Hayducka says that detectives have recovered physical evidence and are reviewing surveillance footage. The suspects were seen leaving the scene in a white car.
“We believe there are people out there with information that can help us close this case. Our victim was just working extra hours to get ahead and he was shot,” Chief Hayducka said in a statement.
Crime Stoppers of Middlesex County is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the people responsible for the shooting. Calls can be anonymous.
Anyone who may have any information should call 1-800-939-9600 or send a text message to Text to 274637 (CRIMES) with the keyword ‘’midtip’’ followed by a message.
