More storms are expected to hit South Jersey over the next 24 hours, an area already dealing with power outages and damage from Isaias.
Storms rolled through Atlantic County Thursday, knocking out power to an additional 8,000 Atlantic City Electric customers.
"Because of the storm we had on Tuesday, everything is extremely wet and the tree roots are extremely wet so any type of weather we get we're gonna get more trees that go down, that's just what's gonna happen," says Jake Lees, deputy emergency management coordinator for Atlantic County.

Atlantic City Electric still has outages affecting thousands of customers, with the bulk of them in Atlantic County. Tuesday there were more than 200,000 households in the dark.
"The storm this morning did hamper the restoration efforts a little bit, but we have a number of crews dedicated to restore service," says Frank Tedesco, spokesperson for Atlantic City Electric.
The company says they're adding more than 200 personnel today to help get more customers back online.
The company says they're adding more than 200 personnel to help get more customers back online. Company officials say they hope to restore most of the power by tonight and the rest by Saturday.
Lees says these pop-up storms may be more isolated, but people still need to be aware that they may need to take precautions.
