A crane attached to a flatbed truck tipped over Friday afternoon, temporarily trapping its operator.
The accident happened around 4 p.m. near 242 St. Cloud Ave.
Officials say that the crane belonged to a tree-trimming service. The crane tipped over while attempting to lift a particularly large branch.
Crews were able to pull the operator out of the cockpit of the crane. He suffered broken bones and puncture wounds, but is expected to make a full recovery.
The crane knocked down some powerlines and damaged a utility pole when it tipped over. Power was knocked out to the area as a result.
PSEG crews were on the scene making repairs. It was not immediately known how long it would take to restore power.
Crews were also cleaning up spilled hydraulic fluid.
