Police confirmed Monday that a 14-year-old Paterson boy will be charged for sending a teacher a threatening e-mail demanding she change his grades.
A sheriff's spokesman says the student "threatened to rape and kill his teacher" at Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology if she did not change his entire class' grades to As within 48 hours. The student allegedly sent the e-mail in May 2008 at the end of the last academic year.
Sources say the student is facing expulsion from the school and has not returned to classes this year. The student will be charged with delinquency, coercion and making terroristic threats, police say.
