A Morris County woman has been charged with killing one of her daughters and attempting to kill the other before trying to take her own life.

Police say it appears Jenny Lizette Erazo-Rodriguez strangled her 4-year-old daughter Sunday morning. When police arrived at the home, they say a neighbor was administering CPR to the unconscious 4-year-old girl on the front lawn.

Another neighbor was attending to the 6-year-old daughter who was conscious but lethargic. She was treated and released into the care of the state.

Rodriguez faces murder, attempted murder and endangering the welfare of a child charges. Her bail has been set at $1 million.
