For most of us, Wednesday will be a morning where you step outside and notice a wet ground, but also breaks of sunshine overhead very quickly.

WHAT'S NEW: Dry weather into the weekend. Nice fall weather conditions. WHAT'S NEXT: Clouds and showers in the morning gives way to sunshine.

We have Tropical Storm Melissa that will produce heavy flooding rains around Jamaica, Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

FORECAST:

TODAY: A cloudy sky with showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 9 a.m. Slight chance of a shower through noon. Mostly sunny breezy this afternoon. High near 66. Southwest to West wind 10 to 20 mph.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear, with a low around 48. Breezy and feeling a little cold. West wind 10 to 14 mph.

Thursday: Sun and clouds, with a high near 63. Breezy. West wind 10 to 20 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 46. West wind around 10 mph. Friday: Sun and clouds, chance of an isolated showers towards evening. High near 62.
