ALERTS: Winter Weather Advisory for tonight into early Monday morning for Sussex, Warren and northern Passaic counties.

Any morning sun will give way to thickening clouds. Highs will reach the upper 30s. Rain will develop late this evening. Over the Northwestern corner of the state snow and or a mix will develop. The precipitation will continue overnight. A crusty coating of snow is possible in the advisory area by early Monday morning.

On and off showers are expected on Monday. High will reach the upper 40s. Early morning showers on Tuesday will give way to sunshine and much milder readings. Highs will approach 60.

Another round of rain is expected for the second half of Wednesday.
