After a clear and chilly start to the day with morning lows in the upper-30s in some spots, mainly sunny skies had temperatures rebounding nicely back to the low-70s by the afternoon. It was a picture-perfect fall day for us here in New Jersey.
More of the same is expected for the next few days. In fact, tomorrow's high temperature will be the coldest afternoon high since the beginning of May.
The forecast remains rain-free until the end of the weekend. On Sunday night, into very early Monday morning, a weak system could bring sporadic showers across the state. It won't help the drought situation, but something is better than nothing at this point.
TONIGHT: Clear skies with lows in the upper-40s.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny with highs in the low-60s. Skies remain clear overnight with lows dipping to around 47.
FRIDAY: Plenty of sunshine with highs in the upper-60s and low-70s. Clear overnight with lows around 56.
SATURDAY: Except for a few afternoon clouds, mainly sunny. High around 75. Clear overnight with lows around 51.
SUNDAY: Partly cloudy with highs in the upper-60s. Overcast with a chance of some rain overnight. Lows around 56.
