Chief: Clerk inside deli at time of crash to be released from hospital

Owners and family members of a popular market in Jackson have begun cleaning up following a truck accident and crash.
The accident happened Thursday afternoon at the Glory Market on Cedar Swamp Road.
The Jackson police chief has confirmed the clerk working inside and injured will be released from the hospital today.
The chief also gave a positive update on the elderly customer who was inside as well.
He is recovering in ICU after doctors repaired his broken nose.
According to police, a driver in a car turned into the path of a truck, causing it to lose control and crash into the Market.
The truck ended up where the deli clerk was working, putting the clerk, as well as the customer, in the hospital. ?
The crash took out a large part of the front of the building.
The other two people involved, the 17-year-old driver of the car as well as the truck driver, were not seriously hurt.
