Chain-reaction bus crash on Turnpike sends nearly 40 people to the hospital

State police say two buses were heading northbound when one rear-ended the other. Three cars traveling behind them also crashed.

Nearly 40 people are recovering this morning after two buses collided on the Turnpike, triggering a chain-reaction crash.
The crash happened in Burlington County a little before 1 p.m. Sunday.
State police say two buses were heading northbound when one rear-ended the other. Three cars traveling behind them also crashed.
A total of 39 passengers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
