Cannabis panel rejects Curaleaf’s license to sell recreational marijuana

The cannabis regulatory commission declined to renew the license for Curaleaf, one of New Jersey’s largest sellers of recreational marijuana.
It comes just ahead of the one-year anniversary of legal recreational sales. Curaleaf’s approval for recreational sales lapses on Friday, April 21. The company says the move will impact their 500 team members and harm New Jersey’s cannabis market.
Curaleaf has three adult use locations in Bellmawr, Bordentown and Edgewater Park.
